Coke charging Cars with charging of blend to oven by means of traditional devices of gravitation type or forced charging – by screw or rotor feeders, are designed for charging of coal blend to coke ovens.
Machine performs the following main operations:
– collecting of blend from coal tower gates;
– traveling over battery top and charging of blend to oven;
– extraction-installation of lids of charging hatches;
– control of stand-pipes and injection valves;
– cleaning of elbows and wells of stand-pipes.
Drives of screw feeders (or rotor feeders) with frequency regulation of rotation speed provide the optimal charging speed. Control system is executed based on PLC; hydraulic drives are widely used in design of machine mechanisms. Weighing of blend in bunkers is provided by means of load cells to be installed under supports of bunkers and transferring the signal to display in operator’s cabin. Values of scales are used for controlled charging of bunkers of Coke charging Car with blend from bunkers of coal tower and charging of ovens with given capacity.
Drives of machine can be hydraulic or electro-mechanical. Cabins of operator, hydraulic and electronic equipment are equipped with air conditioners.
Control systems of drives:
– contactor-relay with contactless elements;
– contactor-relay, using programmable logic controllers (PLC);
– contactor-relay, using PLC, VVVF, positioning system and information transfer system to central control room (ACSTP of battery).
Coke charging Cars servicing the top of coke oven battery with one Gas Collecting Main are equipped with device for charging gas overflow.
Device is placed on Coke charging Car and it is controlled from operator’s cabin. This version excludes construction of trestle or mono rail unit, power lines laying (trolleys), equipment of control board, additional staff (operator).
At charging of oven chamber, the shorten stand-pipe of oven to be charged, with overflow branch-pipe is connected with stand-pipe of adjacent, along the pushing, oven and part of charging gas from the oven to be charged, is evacuated in Gas Collecting Main through under roof area of adjacent oven.
Device consists of overflow branch-pipe with inbuilt electric magnets, drive with drive lever, stop device, cross beam and system of sensors.
